I enjoyed the little sketches, the main character nikki made and I also liked how she described all her feelings into her notebook. I felt happy that she is sharing her feelings.

Swim Team by Johnnie Christmas is a graphic novel. It is about the main character, Bree, facing her fears of swimming. At first, Bree didn't even like pools and swimming. However, she starts to practice swimming after she gets into a swimming elective in school. Bree eventually joins the swim team and to the amazement of others, faces her fears. During her time in the swim team, Bree faces many difficulties from not being able to swim to fighting with teammates. But she eventually figures things out. I think that this book was a good book and was very easy to understand.

Patina by Jason Reynolds in a realistic fiction and the second book in the Track series. This book is about the main character, Patina, and her life on the track team. With a complicated family history and no friends in school, Patina faces many different challenges along the way. However, she eventually figures everything out and wins many races. This book was a great sequel to the first book in the series, Ghost. I would definitely recommend this book to people who are interested in these kinds of topics.

I like this book because it showed how bonds can change but everything will still be alright. It was a little easy for me to read.

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins is a science fiction and the first book in The Hunger Games series. Personally, this book is the best out of all the three books in the series. The book is mainly about a society in the future where the government has all power over the citizens and rules over them. Every year, they hold an event where all 12 districts in the country send one boy and girl tribute from the age of 12 to 18 to the hunger games. During the hunger games, the goal is to be the only child left (unfortunately, the others get killed). When the main character, Katniss Everdeen's sister gets called as a tribute, Katniss steps up to volunteer to go instead since she didn't want to put her sister in danger. The story focuses on the journey of Katniss during her time in the games. Near the end of the book, she does something that is considered as an act of rebellion against the government. So, this action leads to the second book. Overall, I think that this book is worth reading because it is action-packed and there is always something new that you learn about on every page. However, some parts of the book are violent so it might not be the best option for kids.

I did not like this book because the author only focused on the problem of the Malloys and their neighbors. She did not give much detail and only showed one side of the story. I would not recommend this book to anyone.??

This book was amazing because I loved all the detail j.K rowling added, suspense and how the Harry Potter series started. I love harry potter.
